Job Description

Our client is one of the leading Global Asset Management firms keen to hire an enthusiastic Senior Analyst / Analyst to join their Real Estate Finance team in Mumbai. The candidate will be looking at financial reporting, fund operations, investor relations and accounting compliance under US GAAP and IFRS.

Key responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Operations: Manage monthly & quarterly financial close, including expense reviews and accounts payable.

Fund Accounting: Prepare / review financial statements, investor reports, capital calls and distributions.

Investor Relations Support: Assist with investor reporting, confirmations and ad hoc reports.

Audit & Compliance: Coordinate with Big 4 auditors on tax and reporting matters.

Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process enhancements and financial controls.

Role requirements

Qualifications & Competencies:

Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-8 years of experience in corporate accounting or audit (preferably in financial services or asset management).

Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting systems (FIS Private Capital Suite, Anaplan, Workiva).

Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills.

Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with complex legal structures and financial modeling.

Working knowledge of Workiva, FIS DX and Dynamics 365.
