Role Overview
You will be responsible for building Kettos AI strategy and execution layer from data unification and infrastructure to developing intelligent products and automating workflows. Youll collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to integrate AI deeply into every function, including donor engagement, marketing, operations, and product personalization.
This is a hands-on leadership role where youll both build and architect driving AI adoption across the company while delivering measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
AI Transformation & Strategy
Define and implement Kettos roadmap to become an AI-first organization .
Identify business processes ripe for AI automation (e.g., donor segmentation, lead prioritization, telecalling insights, campaign recommendations).Create a scalable framework for AI-driven decision-making across teams.AI Product Development
Build and deploy AI-driven products such as:
Donor intent prediction and repeat donor scoring models.AI-based fundraising campaign optimizer.Conversational AI for donor communication via WhatsApp, chat, and email.Automated impact report generation using LLMs.Integrate AI modules with existing systems (NocoBase, CRM, Telephony, Mixpanel, etc.).Experiment and deploy cutting-edge LLM and generative AI capabilities for personalization and storytelling.
Data Infrastructure & Engineering
Architect and maintain AI-ready infrastructure leveraging Redshift, Metabase, Mixpanel, and data pipelines .
Ensure all Ketto data streams (donations, leads, campaigns, UTMs, telecalling, and WhatsApp) are unified and ML-ready.Collaborate with data and engineering teams to build APIs and pipelines for training and inference.Automation & Intelligence
Build internal AI copilots to assist marketing, operations, and telecalling teams.Develop workflow automation agents using tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, and OpenAI APIs .
Create frameworks for prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and vector-based knowledge retrieval.Collaboration & Leadership
Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and deliver AI-driven outcomes.Mentor internal teams to build AI awareness and integration best practices.Evaluate external AI vendors, open-source models, and APIs for cost-performance optimization.Required Skills & Experience
5+ years experience in AI/ML, data science, or applied AI roles.
Proven track record in migrating organizations to AI-first architectures .
Hands-on expertise in:LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, etc.)
LangChain / LlamaIndex / Hugging Face
Python, Node.js, or TypeScript for AI backend integration.
Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, etc.)
MLOps and deployment (AWS Sagemaker, Vertex AI, or similar).
Data stack: SQL, Redshift, Airflow, dbt, Mixpanel, Metabase.
Strong product mindsetable to align AI innovation with business goals.Experience building end-to-end AI pipelines (data ingestion model deployment feedback loop).Excellent communication and leadership skills.Nice to Have
Experience in fundraising, fintech, or consumer tech .
Experience integrating AI into CRM, marketing automation, or customer support tools.Contributions to open-source AI frameworks or previous startup experience.
