Job Description: As an Educational Counselor at the Indian Defence Academy, your role will be pivotal in guiding and supporting students from across India in their pursuit of a successful career in the defence sector. You will serve as a bridge between our institution and prospective candidates, helping them make informed decisions about their educational and career paths.

Key Responsibilities:

• Student Guidance: Provide comprehensive guidance and counseling to aspiring students interested in NDA, CDS, SSB, RIMC, and other defence-related courses.
• Admissions Support: Assist candidates in the application and admission process, ensuring they understand the course offerings, eligibility criteria, and deadlines.
• Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with students and parents via various channels, including in-person, phone, email, and online chat.
• Information Dissemination: Keep up-to-date with our course curriculum, offerings, and admission requirements to provide accurate information to candidates.
• Career Counseling: Offer insights into career opportunities in the defence sector and provide guidance on suitable courses and pathways.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of candidate interactions, ensuring that every student's needs and concerns are appropriately documented.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in educational counseling or related roles.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students and parents.
• Knowledge of defence-related courses and career options is a plus.
