Senior Accounts Executive- Australian Accounting Department

As a Senior Accounts Executive in the Australian Accounting Department at our company located in Ahmedabad, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Prepare financial statements in accordance with all current legal and accounting reporting standards in Australia, specifically focusing on special purpose financial statements. - Attend to the preparation of the fixed asset register and demonstrate a working knowledge of division 7a. - Prepare clear and concise work papers and manage ad hoc project work effectively. - Handle the preparation of monthly and quarterly activity statements, including FBT preparation of employee contributions based on motor vehicle benefits. - Utilize strong verbal communication skills and ideally have bookkeeping experience along with Xero certification. Qualifications required for this role include: - Experience in Xero and XPM (Xero Tax) is a must. - Preferred qualifications include CPA/CA+ CPA. - Minimum 4 years of experience working on Australian financial statements and income tax returns. - Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, demonstrating the capability to work under pressure and organize work to meet deadlines. - Hands-on experience of 3-5 years on Xero XPM and Australian taxation.
