Senior Accounts Associate

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Handle

  day-to-day accounting

  functions including journal entries, general ledger, accounts payable, and receivables.
• Maintain accurate

  books of accounts

  using

  Tally ERP

  and ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts.
• Manage

  monthly closing activities

  and prepare

  P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports

  .
• Perform

  bank reconciliation

  , vendor reconciliation, and intercompany adjustments.

Taxation & Compliance

• Prepare and file

  GST returns

  ,

  TDS

  ,

  Compute Tax,

  and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Compute

  Income Tax

  and assist in

  year-end tax filings

  .
• Support

  internal and external audits

  , ensuring proper documentation and adherence to accounting standards.

U.S. Accounting Exposure (Preferred)

• Experience or working knowledge of

  U.S. payroll, taxation, and accounting principles

  .
• Coordinate with the

  U.S. finance team

  for reporting, compliance, and financial consolidation.
• Exposure to accounting tools such as

  QuickBooks

  or

  NetSuite

  will be an advantage.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare

  management reports, financial summaries, and variance analyses

  .
• Monitor and track expenses, ensuring proper cost allocation and budget control.
• Provide recommendations for

  process improvements and cost efficiency

  .

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in

  Accounting, Commerce, or Finance

  .
• Minimum

  5+ years of hands-on accounting experience

  .
• Proficiency in

  Tally ERP

  and good knowledge of

  GST, TDS, and Income Tax

  compliance.
• Strong understanding of

  general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting

  .
• Experience in

  U.S. payroll, taxation, and audit

  preferred.
• Proficiency in

  MS Excel

  and familiarity with accounting systems like

  QuickBooks / NetSuite

  .
• Excellent

  analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  .
