Senior Accounting Analyst

Role Overview: You are a Senior Accounting Analyst who will join the Revenue Accounting team in Bangalore. Your role involves ensuring correct accounting of transactions and timely revenue reporting in compliance with Bottomline's policies. You will play a key part in core revenue accounting principles, oversight of related accounting areas, and participation in monthly closes and audit preparation. Key Responsibilities: - Apply core revenue accounting principles to determine correct revenue treatment - Oversee accounting areas impacted by revenue, such as third-party costs - Assist in applying technical accounting policies like fair value analysis and customer life analysis - Participate in monthly and quarterly closes, including ownership of standard journal entries and account reconciliations - Aid in audit preparation and responding to auditor queries - Contribute to process improvement projects Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in accounting, CMA, CPA - Proficiency in business systems like Excel, CRM, ERP - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal) - Attention to detail with a focus on producing quality and accurate work consistently - Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Additional Company Details: Bottomline is an equal opportunity employer that values inclusivity and fairness.
