Job Description

TransforMe is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing client engagement activities, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and proactively following up on collections. This position requires strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service. Responsibilities: Client Invoicing and Billing: - Prepare and generate accurate and timely invoices for client services according to established billing schedules and contracts. - Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client agreements. - Address client inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies promptly and professionally. Accounts Receivable Management: - Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and identify overdue invoices. - Proactively follow up with clients on past-due invoices via phone, email, and written correspondence. - Maintain accurate records of all collection efforts and client communications. - Escalate complex collection issues to management for resolution. Financial Reporting and Analysis: - Generate and analyze accounts receivable reports to identify trends and potential issues. - Prepare regular reports on collection activity and outstanding balances for management review. - Assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciling accounts receivable balances. Client Relationship Management: - Proactively identify and address potential client concerns related to billing and collections. General Accounting Support: - Assist with other accounting tasks as needed, such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and audits. - Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures. - Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting processes and systems. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on client engagement and collections. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). - Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite) is preferred. - Ability to work independently and as a collaborative member of a team.,
