Job Summary:

Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations including

  accounts payable, receivable, payroll, costing, and general ledger

  .
• Prepare

  monthly MIS reports, plant cost sheets, and profitability analysis

  .
• Monitor and control

  inventory valuation, raw material consumption, scrap accounting, and production costing

  .
• Ensure

  statutory compliance

  with GST, TDS, Excise, Customs, and Income Tax laws applicable to the manufacturing sector.
• Handle

  bank reconciliations, LC/BG documentation, vendor payments, and credit control

  .
• Assist in

  budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

  for plant and corporate finance.
• Coordinate with auditors (internal & statutory) and ensure timely closure of audits.
• Implement and maintain

  internal controls and process improvements

  specific to manufacturing and aluminium production.
• Liaise with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
• Mentor and guide junior accountants in the plant finance team.
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in

  Commerce, Accounting, or Finance

  .

• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance)

  will be an added advantage.
• Minimum

  58 years of experience

  in accounting/finance, with at least

  5 years in manufacturing (preferably aluminium, metals, or heavy industry)

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  cost accounting, inventory management, and product costing

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Tally ERP, SAP, or other ERP systems

  .
• In-depth knowledge of

  Ind AS/IFRS, taxation laws, and manufacturing-related compliances

  .
• Proficiency in

  MS Excel (advanced level)

  for financial modeling and reporting.
