Job Description: Senior Accountant GST

Location: Sulur
Experience Required: Minimum 46 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end GST compliance:

• GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.)

• Reconciliation of GSTR 2A/2B with books of accounts

• Timely payment and accounting of GST liabilities

• Coordinate with internal teams for accurate GST data collection and documentation

• Liaise with consultants/auditors on GST assessments, notices, and audits

• Maintain updated knowledge of GST law amendments and ensure compliance

• Assist in monthly and year-end closing of books

• Support general accounting tasks as needed (vouching, ledger scrutiny, vendor reconciliations, etc.)

• Prepare reports and summaries for management regarding tax liabilities and compliance status

Requirements:

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred

• Experience: 4–6 years in accounting with a strong focus on GST compliance

• Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Tally ERP, Excel, and GST portal

• Good understanding of input credit rules, RCM, and GST on services

• Soft Skills:

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to meet statutory deadlines

• Good communication and coordination skills
