Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Reporting

Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Prepare balance sheet, P&L statement, cash flow statement, and MIS reports.
Perform monthly closing activities and timely reconciliations.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

Monitor vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
Review invoices, purchase orders, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Oversee customer billing, credit control, and follow-up on outstanding payments.

Taxation & Compliance

Handle GST filing, TDS, PT, PF, ESIC and other statutory requirements.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns.
Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.

Banking & Reconciliation

Manage bank transactions, fund transfers, and cash flow.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.

Budgeting & Analysis

Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Provide financial insights for management decisions.

Team & Process Management

Supervise junior accountants and guide them in daily tasks.
Develop and improve accounting processes and controls.

3. Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelors/Masters degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
CA Inter / CMA Inter (preferred but not mandatory).
Minimum
4–7 years
of relevant accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, Excel, and accounting standards.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under deadlines with accuracy and integrity.
