Job Description

Role Overview: Generative Design Solutions Middle East (GDSME) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant & Admin to manage the financial operations and ensure statutory compliance in a fast-paced IT start-up environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Finance, be well-versed with Indian tax/finance policies, and possess 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in an IT or start-up setting. Key Responsibilities: - Handle day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, invoices, and reconciliations. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records. - Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PF, and Income Tax regulations. - Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and banks. - Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking. - Prepare and submit required statutory filings and financial reports. Qualifications & Skills: - Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (e.g., B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance). - Experience: 4-7 years of experience in Accounting, preferably in an IT or start-up environment. - Technical Skills: - Proficiency in Tally ERP / Zoho Books / QuickBooks. - Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances. - Hands-on Excel and financial reporting skills. - Soft Skills: - Detail-oriented and highly organized. - Ability to work independently in a start-up setup. - Strong communication and coordination abilities. - Time management and adaptability to dynamic work environments.
