Job Description

You will be part of a dynamic team at Oracle, delivering world-class Linux and virtualization solutions to international business customers. As an Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to sell these solutions to senior business and technical decision-makers in major global corporations. With a minimum of 6 years of sales experience in the Services and Solutions domain, you should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to make compelling presentations. While demonstrating an aggressive selling approach, you must also excel as a team player. Your success in this role will be driven by your strong network of relationships with key decision-makers in companies of all sizes. Leveraging these relationships will be crucial in generating new business for Oracle. Additionally, your ability to leverage existing customer contacts to generate revenue within the first 30 days will be essential. Key Success Criteria: - Quickly ramp up on Oracle's Linux, Oracle Virtualization, and support services within 2-3 weeks. - Develop a pipeline within 4-6 weeks and forecast for the quarter within 6-8 weeks. - Book business within 60 days by engaging in cold and customer calling, a critical aspect of this role. As an Account Manager at Oracle, you will drive business in your assigned territory by developing new accounts and executing account plans to meet targets. Your responsibilities will include cold calling, prospecting, qualification, account mapping, and delivering presentations. Utilizing Oracle's sales tools effectively, you will develop and track the pipeline, progress opportunities, and generate monthly and quarterly forecasts. You will be responsible for the entire sales process, from identifying and qualifying leads to closing deals and administering accurate forecasting and record-keeping. In this role, you will work towards achieving maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within your assigned territory. You will collaborate with team members in business development, consulting, and support to address customer needs comprehensively. As an Account Manager at Oracle, you will travel to customer sites, develop sales opportunities, present value propositions, negotiate with C-level executives, and manage customer relationships to maximize sales.
