Senior Academic Counselor

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Handling & Calling:
• Call and counsel potential students from the leads provided through various sources (online/offline).
• Generate interest and qualify leads through effective communication.
• Lead Generation & Walk-in Management:
• Identify and generate new leads through referrals, local marketing, and student outreach activities.
• Plan and execute initiatives to increase walk-ins at the institute.
• Student Counselling:
• Provide detailed information about the institute’s courses, career paths, and training outcomes.
• Assess students’ academic background, interests, and goals to suggest the most suitable course.
• Ensure every student receives personalized and professional guidance.
• Follow-up & Admission Conversion:
• Maintain regular follow-up with prospects through calls, emails, or messages until closure.
• Convert prospective enquiries into confirmed admissions through consistent engagement.
• Achieve individual and team admission targets.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Complete all admission formalities and maintain proper documentation of enrolled students.
• Update and maintain student records in the system accurately.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports on leads, follow-ups, and admissions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Education, Marketing, or related field).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in academic counselling, student admissions, or educational sales.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent convincing and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office..
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and team-oriented.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Number of qualified leads generated.
• Walk-ins and counselling sessions conducted.
• Conversion rate (enquiry to admission).
• Timely completion of student documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
