Key Responsibilities:

Provide academic counselling to students and parents regarding curriculum options, academic programs, and subject selection.

Support students in understanding their strengths, areas of improvement, and academic goals.

Guide parents during admissions on curriculum structure, assessments, and overall academic approach of the school.

Assist students with orientation, academic planning, and career pathway guidance as per grade levels.

Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and school leadership for student progress tracking and intervention planning.

Maintain regular communication with parents regarding academic performance, remedial actions, and progress updates.

Organize counselling sessions, workshops, and information sessions to support student development and academic clarity.

Maintain documentation of counselling interactions, action plans, and progress reports.

Candidate Profile:

✔ Bachelor’s/Master's Degree in Psychology, Education, Counselling, or related field.

✔ Minimum 2-4 years of experience as an Academic Counsellor, preferably in a reputed school environment.

✔ Strong understanding of school curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE preferred) and academic structures.

✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students and parents.

✔ Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.

✔ Empathetic, student-centric approach with problem-solving capabilities.

✔ Fluency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of regional languages is an advantage.
