Job Description

Role Overview: As a Segment Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the Chemical, Cement, Energy, and Textile segments. Your primary focus will be on developing new and key accounts, particularly in the Knitting oil business within the Textile segment. You will play a crucial role in expanding the company's market share and establishing strong relationships with customers in various industries. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement Route to Market plans for gaining market share in the Textile segment, with a specific focus on Knitting, Weaving, Processing, and Coning. - Build relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the Textile segment to secure endorsements and approvals for the company's offerings. - Identify and pursue business opportunities in the Chemical segment, with a focus on growing the White oil and speciality lubes business with Refineries, Petrochemical Plants, Pharma Ingredient, and other Chemical industries. - Explore opportunities in the Energy segment, particularly in the transition from conventional to renewable and sustainable energy sources. - Manage relationships with key accounts to ensure business retention and growth, including proposing solutions for tenders and contracts. - Stay updated on market intelligence and new technologies defined by OEMs to integrate into the company's Research and Development action plan. - Mentor and coach subordinate team members on key account actions and business development strategies. - Collaborate with sales teams to identify direct sales opportunities, conduct site audits, and demonstrate the value of the company's products to customers. - Implement customer account plans focusing on stakeholder and relationship management, HSEQ and Ethical compliance, and business performance improvement initiatives. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering. - Proven experience in business development, particularly in the Chemical, Cement, Energy, or Textile industry. - Strong communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. - Ability to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to drive business growth. - Experience in managing distributor relationships and maximizing profitability. - Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salsa and other methodologies for structured data analysis and reporting.
