Security Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor

  daily security operations across all school campuses

  , including academic blocks, hostels, playgrounds, parking areas, and administrative buildings.
• Prepare and manage

  duty rosters, attendance, and shift schedules

  for security personnel to ensure full coverage during school hours and night shifts.
• Conduct

  regular inspections, patrolling, and surprise checks

  to maintain discipline and prevent theft, trespassing, vandalism, or unauthorized entry.
• Oversee and ensure proper functioning of

  CCTV surveillance, access control systems, fire alarm panels, and gate management systems

  .
• Maintain

  strict visitor management protocols

  for parents, vendors, and guests ensuring all entries are logged and verified.
• Investigate and report any

  security incidents, student-related safety issues, or property damage

  promptly to the school administration.
• Conduct

  security drills, fire safety training, and evacuation rehearsals

  in coordination with school management and facility teams.
• Ensure

  student safety during school hours, assemblies, events, and transportation movement (buses and parking areas)

  .
• Coordinate with

  facility, maintenance, and housekeeping teams

  for smooth and safe daily operations.
• Maintain proper

  records of visitors, student gate passes, staff movement, material in/out, and incident reports.

• Liaise with

  local police and emergency services

  for verifications, emergencies, or compliance matters.
• Enforce

  school discipline, safety norms, and code of conduct

  among staff, students, and visitors.
• Monitor and guide security guards for

  behavioral discipline, grooming standards, and alertness

  while on duty.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification:

  Graduate / Ex-Serviceman (Army / Police / Security Services preferred) of age upto

  50 Years

  .

• Experience:

  Minimum

  10 years

  in

  Institutional / Educational Security Management

• Industry Preference:

  Schools, Universities, Educational Institutions, or Large Campuses
• Should have

  handled multi-building campuses or residential school setups

  with large manpower teams.
• Strong understanding of

  CCTV surveillance, student safety protocols, fire & emergency procedures, and visitor control systems.

• Must be

  physically fit, alert, disciplined, and able to manage crisis situations efficiently.

• Excellent

  communication and leadership skills

  , with the ability to train and motivate guards.
• Preference for candidates with prior experience in

  CBSE / International schools or educational infrastructure security.
