Security Operations Manager

As a SOC Manager at ACPL Systems Pvt. Ltd., a pure play cybersecurity organization/platform, your primary responsibility will be to lead the Security Operations Centre team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring effective detection, analysis, and response to security incidents. Your duties will involve managing a team of SOC analysts, developing training programs, coordinating shift schedules, overseeing incident response, and optimizing SOC tools and processes. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and mentor a team of SOC analysts and engineers. - Develop training programs and provide ongoing support to enhance team skills and performance. - Coordinate shift schedules to ensure 24/7 SOC coverage. - Oversee the identification, assessment, and response to security incidents. - Ensure timely resolution of security incidents and escalate when necessary. - Conduct post-incident reviews and address root causes to improve security posture. - Analyze and correlate security data to detect potential threats. - Optimize SOC tools and processes to improve detection capabilities. - Develop and maintain SOC policies, procedures, and best practices. - Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements. - Prepare and deliver regular reports on SOC performance, incident trends, and threat landscape. - Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners. - Coordinate with other teams to align and integrate security initiatives. - Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and new technologies. - Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance SOC efficiency. - Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance SOC capabilities. Qualifications and Skills: - Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field. A master's degree is a plus. - Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of security technologies, network, cloud, and application security, incident response. - Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing and developing a high-performing team. - Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
