Security Officer

Key Responsibilities

1. Employee and Visitor Safety:

Serve as the first point of contact for safety concerns, creating an approachable

and trustworthy presence.

Maintain visible security across high-traffic areas, identifying and mitigating risks

proactively.

2. Fire Safety and Emergency Preparedness:

Conduct regular fire drills and ensure fire exit routes are clear, accessible, and

compliant with safety regulations.

Manage and maintain fire safety equipment, including FM208 extinguishers in the

server room.

3. Incident and Risk Management:

Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, protecting individuals and assets

while demonstrating empathy and authority.

Monitor and operate advanced CCTV systems to detect and report suspicious

activities.

4. Material and Parking Management:

Supervise and regulate material movement in and out of the premises.

Oversee parking operations, ensuring smooth access control and efficient vehicle

management.

5. Security and Safety Reporting:

Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on security and safety activities.

Document and report incidents, breaches, or irregularities to the management.

6. Team Leadership and Training:

Train and mentor security personnel, ensuring adherence to protocols and

professional conduct.

Foster teamwork within the security department for efficient operations.

7. Technology and Administrative Duties:

Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) for reporting and

documentation.

Access internal security systems (after the 3-month probation) to manage security

data effectively.

8. Employee Interaction:

Communicate fluently in English with employees and clients, providing guidance

on safety policies and ensuring professionalism.

9. Site Surveys:

Conduct regular site inspections to assess and improve the security infrastructure.Role & responsibilities
