As a Securities & Derivatives Sr Supervisor at our organization, your role involves providing leadership and direction to a team responsible for processing orders and transactions from trading desks and branch offices. Your primary goal is to ensure the seamless delivery of securities and derivatives transactions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Resolve settlement issues and serve as a subject matter expert to interpret policies, guidelines, or processes; escalate complex issues as needed - Analyze data using data analysis tools to make process improvement recommendations to senior management - Utilize your understanding of securities and derivatives settlement activities to interpret data, prepare reports, and present findings to management - Identify policy gaps and formulate policies to streamline related work processes - Assist in the implementation of projects, including trade flow process enhancement initiatives - Interpret data to make recommendations for launching new products, services, and upgraded platforms - Provide informal guidance and on-the-job training to new team members - Minimize risk to the bank by monitoring errors, providing solutions, and adhering to audit and control policies - Assess risks when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations **Qualifications:** - 2-5 years of relevant experience - Previous experience in people management - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills **Education:** - Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience Please note that this job description provides a high-level overview of the work performed.
