This role is pivotal in driving data-driven decision making and continuous improvement at AM/NS India Limited. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in data analysis and statistical process control to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators)

1. Process Optimization: Identify process variations, provide feedback to the improvement team, and drive statistical process control studies to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
2. Data-Driven Insights: Retrieve, analyze, and transform complex data into actionable business insights to support strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
3. Quality Management: Participate in the development of control plans, FMEAs, and quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and drive a culture of quality.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with IT/Automation teams to streamline reporting processes and provide key performance insights to various stakeholders.

Critical Tasks (

a. Develop a safe work culture through the implementation of the Safety 1st Methodology to achieve zero incidents.
b. Retrieve process and product data from systems, analyze trends, and identify variations in process parameters and product characteristics.
c. Provide feedback to the process improvement team to address identified variations and drive continuous improvement.
d. Conduct statistical process control studies on critical process parameters and product characteristics to maintain quality standards.
e. Compile mass production data for submission to customers as per requirements and generate digital dashboards to monitor process and product attributes.
f. Monitor departmental key performance indicators, such as process yield, diversions, reworking, and COPQ, and develop action plans to address any issues.
g. Participate in the development of control plans and FMEAs for various processes as per ISO 16949:2016 standards.
h. Leverage statistical tools, DMAIC, Quality Circle Projects, MSA, KAIZEN, 5S, and problem-solving methodologies to drive data-driven improvements.

Education Qualification & Certifications

B.E. / BTech or Post-graduate in Metallurgy and / Material Science / Mechanical with relevant experience.

Relevant Experience

5+ Years of experience in data analysis with any of the data analysis tools.
