JOB TITLE: SEO Specialist

Experience: 2-5 years

Position Overview:

We're seeking a creative, data-driven SEO Specialist who masters the full spectrum of SEO, from on-page optimization and off-page link building to technical audits. You'll craft and optimize content that elevates organic visibility, drives qualified traffic, and fuels lead generation, while ensuring our site architecture and performance meet Google's highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Perform keyword research and competitive audits to uncover content and link-building opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain an editorial calendar aligned with SEO goals, product launches, and campaigns.
  • Map content to buyer personas and each stage of the funnel.
  • On-Page Optimization
  • Write and optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers, and body copy for target keywords.
  • Implement internal linking strategies and schema markup to boost relevance and rich results.
  • Continuously audit existing content to improve readability, engagement, and search rankings.

Off-Page Optimization

  • Plan and execute link-building campaigns: outreach, guest posts, digital PR, and partnerships.
  • Monitor backlink profile, disavow harmful links, and discover high-authority opportunities.
  • Collaborate with influencers, industry publications, and affiliates to amplify content reach.
  • Technical SEO
  • Conduct regular site audits (crawlability, indexation, site speed, mobile performance).
  • Identify and fix technical issues: redirects, broken links, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, hreflang, canonical tags.
  • Work with developers to implement performance improvements (lazy loading, compression, caching).

Performance Tracking & Analysis

  • Track organic traffic, rankings, CTR, bounce rate, and conversions using Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush.
  • A/B test headlines, CTAs, and content formats; iterate based on data.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with UX/design to ensure SEO-friendly site structure and page templates.
  • Liaise with paid-ads and social teams to amplify top-performing content.
  • Train stakeholders on SEO best practices and emerging trends.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.
  • 35 years of hands-on experience in SEO content strategy, on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Proven track record of creating content that ranks and earns high-quality backlinks.
  • Expertise with tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal) and basic HTML/CSS.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate audit findings into actionable fixes.
