Role Overview The SEO Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Shiv Software Experts’ complete SEO roadmap — including on-page, off-page, technical, and local SEO initiatives. You’ll play a key role in improving organic visibility for our website, driving high-quality traffic, and generating business leads in the IT services domain. This is a foundational role for someone eager to establish a brand’s SEO ecosystem from scratch and grow with a rapidly scaling IT company. Key Responsibilities Build and execute end-to-end SEO strategy for the company’s websites and digital platforms. Conduct comprehensive keyword research, competitor benchmarking, and audience analysis. Create and optimize on-page elements (meta tags, headers, schema, internal links, content). Perform technical SEO audits — improve site performance, structure, and crawlability. Develop and manage a link-building strategy using ethical and white-hat techniques. Work closely with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices. Manage and optimize Google Business Profile, local directories, and citations for Hyderabad and U.S. visibility. Monitor and report SEO performance metrics using Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz. Stay up to date on Google algorithm updates and evolving SEO tools and strategies. Collaborate with marketing and business teams to align SEO goals with lead-generation efforts. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field. 3–8 years of proven SEO experience, preferably in IT / SaaS / Digital Consulting industries. Deep understanding of search algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices. Strong hands-on experience with Google Analytics, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog. Knowledge of WordPress, Webflow, or other CMS platforms. Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for on-page optimization. Experience in building SEO from scratch for a new or rebranded domain is a strong plus. Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills. Preferred Skills Experience with content optimization tools like SurferSEO, Jasper, or Clearscope. Familiarity with technical SEO for SaaS or multi-region websites (hreflang, schema). Understanding of AI-assisted SEO and content generation workflows.
