Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist, located in Kolkata. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for performing keyword research, conducting SEO audits, building links, utilizing web analytics, and implementing on-page SEO strategies. The role involves working closely with the marketing and content teams to ensure that the company's digital presence is optimized for search engines.

Key Responsibilities

Optimize website content, meta titles, descriptions, headings, and URLs.

Ensure proper internal linking and use of structured data (schema markup).

Improve site speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawlability.

Fix technical issues like broken links, redirects, duplicate content, etc.

Collaborate with content writers to create SEO-friendly and engaging content.

Update and repurpose existing content to improve rankings.

Optimize Google Business Profile.

Build local citations and manage online reviews.

Requirements

0 - 1 years of hands-on experience Freshers and Interns search engine optimization specialist work.

Strong understanding of search engine algorithms (Google, Bing, etc.).Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as. Google Search Console. Google Analytics. SEMrush / Ahrefs / Moz / Ubersuggest. Screaming Frog.

Keyword research and targeting. Link-building strategies. Competitor and market analysis. Mobile-first and responsive SEO. Site speed optimization. Structured data / Schema markup. Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization.
