SE/AM Vehicle Inspection

You have 6 ~ 8 years of relevant experience post qualification in Vehicle Inspection activities as per Standards. Your responsibilities will include line inspectors and associate management, understanding Engineering Drawing/Inspection standards, developing Process Standards for Inspectors, assessing new vehicles in trials, giving feedback, and ensuring closure of issues, and knowledge about vehicle inspection equipment. Additionally, you should have knowledge about ISO and Quality systems, Japanese Practices like 5S, 3G, 3K, 3R, Ho-ren-so, applicable regulations for the automotive industry, line quality handling, and problem analysis. Your primary focus will be on Vehicle Inspection after the Assembly Stage in the Automobile Industry. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct mass production vehicle quality inspection to ensure zero defects at the customer end. - Perform Inspection & Evaluation during new model establishment/development stage. - Standardize testing and inspection processes. - Train new inspectors for skill & capability development. - Drive improvement projects in the work area. Qualifications Required: - Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering. - Functional knowledge of passenger cars and inspection standards. - Good understanding of applicable regulations. - Proficiency in Inspection standards and conversion to Process standards. - Ability in problem analysis and root cause identification for Quality issues. - Knowledge of line balancing and work management. - Practical application of Quality Control Tools, including theoretical background of SPC, Analytical tools, and Six Sigma. - Clear & good communication skills. - Ability to work in a lean, multi-tasking environment. - Capability to handle the product & situation independently. You should also have proficiency in computer environments for proper documentation, presentation, and data retrieval (MS Office), knowledge about procurement systems, openness & a positive attitude to work in a team, and leadership qualities.,
