Job Description

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

Hands-on experience in processing of
Alkyd and Acrylic Resins
.
Hands-on experience for
in-process and quality parameter checks
related to resin processing and understanding parameters which impact final paint quality.
Hands-on in
developing and designing Process Flow Diagrams
for resin processing.
Hands-on experience in operating
critical equipment
such as
Reactors, Blenders, Powder Handling systems, Filtration Systems, Transfer Pumps
and thorough know-how of the same.
Hands-on experience with
Process Automation (DCS/MES)
and associated
field instruments
.
Strong knowledge of
deviations and troubleshooting
related to resin processing.
Understanding of
raw materials and ingredients
(liquid chemicals and powders) used in resins and their functions (including
MSDS - Material Safety Data Sheet
).
Basic knowledge in
reading and interpreting P&IDs
,
equipment layout drawings
,
engineering drawings
, and
technical data sheets
.
Responsible for
day-to-day processing of resins
as per the production plan.
Accountable for achieving
daily production targets
of resin batches.
Accountable for achieving
target batch cycle times
through efficient operation of
reactors, filtration systems
, and by strictly following
process instructions
and
quality procedures
.
Ability to
analyze resin batch data
to identify trends and recommend
process optimizations
for improving productivity, cost-efficiency, and batch quality.
