The tech team operates in three main verticals, working on a variety of products that contribute to this mission. As an SDE-II (Backend) at GrowthX, your responsibilities will include: - Developing and scaling core backend services and infrastructure to support high-traffic applications. - Architecting and enhancing infrastructure for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications. - Designing and implementing APIs, microservices, and system integrations. - Building and optimizing data pipelines for real-time processing and analytics. - Ensuring database performance optimization and scalability of backend systems. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-scale features and enhance system performance. - Upholding best practices in code quality, security, and cloud infrastructure management. Required Skills: - 3+ years of experience in backend development within high-scale environments. - Proficiency in TypeScript for web development and/or Python for RAG applications. - Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications and OpenAI embeddings. - Strong grasp of APIs and their best practices. - Knowledge of Redis and caching strategies. - Proficiency in debugging and performance optimization. - Ability to make sound architectural decisions. - Willingness to learn and adapt to SQL and NoSQL databases. Good to have: - Experience with search technologies like Elasticsearch, Solr, etc. - Background in job boards, programmatic search, or large-scale marketplaces. - Exposure to AI/ML-driven applications and data-driven decision-making. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker).
