SDE 3 - Backend

As an experienced SDE-3 Backend Engineer at Unosecur, you will play a crucial role in leading the design and development of scalable and secure backend systems for our cloud-native cybersecurity platform. Here, you will have the opportunity to build not just a career, but a future in one of the most dynamic and resilient sectors in tech. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Backend system architecture:** Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable backend services using technologies such as Node.js, MongoDB, Redis, and NoSQL systems. - **End-to-end delivery:** Own and deliver complex backend modules, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency. - **Cloud integration:** Deploy and manage infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP, following security and performance best practices. - **Security by design:** Implement cybersecurity best practices, including secure API handling, encryption, and threat mitigation. - **Cross-functional collaboration:** Partner with DevSecOps, frontend engineers, and product managers to deliver robust and secure features. - **Mentorship and code quality:** Conduct code reviews, guide junior developers, and uphold high engineering standards. - **Security advocacy:** Participate in secure code reviews, threat modeling, and contribute to the overall security posture of the product. **Qualifications Required:** - **Experience:** 6-9 years of strong backend development experience in product-based, fast-paced environments. - **Technical skills:** Proficiency in Node.js, MongoDB, Redis, and asynchronous programming models. - **Cloud expertise:** Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and knowledge of infrastructure best practices. - **Cybersecurity knowledge:** Deep understanding of authentication/authorization flows, OWASP top 10, secure coding, and data privacy. - **Startup agility:** Prior experience in early or growth-stage startups with a bias toward rapid development and problem-solving. - **Tooling:** Familiarity with CI/CD, microservices architecture, Docker/Kubernetes is a big plus. - **Soft skills:** Strong ownership mindset, effective communication, and team leadership.
