Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Node.js Developer with 4–6 years of experience in backend development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications, build RESTful APIs, and collaborate closely with frontend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain server-side architecture and backend logic for web and mobile applications.
Build and optimize RESTful APIs and services to support multiple products and platforms.
Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure smooth integration between backend and frontend systems.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
Optimize backend performance to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability.
Work with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
Debug and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure rapid resolution.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and team processes.
Stay updated with emerging backend development trends and technologies to continuously enhance system architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4–6 years of professional experience in backend development, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
Strong proficiency in Node.js (mandatory) and working knowledge of React.js.
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Solid understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or similar.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
