Job Role: Scrum Master Chennai (Mandate work from office) 10+ years of experience required We are seeking a skilled and motivated Scrum Master to lead Agile development teams in a fast-paced Fintech product environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, a passion for fostering collaboration, and experience working in financial technology or similar domains. You will be responsible for ensuring that our teams deliver high-quality products efficiently while continuously improving processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Facilitating Agile Practices: Act as a servant leader for Scrum teams, promoting Agile principles and practices.Guide teams in the use of Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile frameworks tailored to Fintech projects. Facilitate key Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. 2. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Act as a bridge between development teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and priorities.Collaborate closely with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clear user stories and acceptance criteria. Maintain transparency on project status and communicate risks or impediments to leadership. 3. Team Empowerment and Delivery Focus: Remove impediments that hinder the team's ability to deliver on sprint commitments. Encourage teams to self-organize and take ownership of their deliverables. Drive continuous improvement in team velocity, product quality, and collaboration. 4. Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze key Agile metrics such as burndown charts, velocity, and cycle time. Provide actionable insights to improve delivery predictability and efficiency. 5. Agile Culture Advocacy: Promote a culture of learning, experimentation, and adaptability within the organization. Facilitate Agile workshops and training sessions for teams and stakeholders. Advocate for best practices in Fintech product development, including regulatory compliance and security standards. Qualifications: Must-Have: Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a Fintech or product-based environment. Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and QA. Familiarity with Fintech domain challenges, including security, scalability, and compliance requirements. Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent. Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills. Preferred: Certification(s): Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Scrum Master. Exposure to financial APIs, payment systems, or blockchain technologies. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks like PCI-DSS, GDPR, or PSD2.
