Scrum Master

Role Overview: As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in leading and facilitating Agile initiatives within the Product Operating Model (POM). You will collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Business Analysts, and Development Teams to ensure successful delivery of large-scale software development projects. Your strong Agile expertise and communication skills will be key in fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Lead Scrum initiatives by collaborating with Product Owners, Tech BAs, and Development Teams to drive Agile delivery. - Facilitate quarterly planning sessions to ensure alignment with group deliverables and organizational goals. - Actively participate in discussions, requirements gathering, JIRA story writing, and defining acceptance criteria. - Oversee testing results to ensure deliverables meet requirements and approve them for completion. - Promote Agile best practices such as User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration/Testing, and other successful techniques. - Serve as a servant leader by fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and team empowerment. - Drive consensus among stakeholders, resolve conflicts effectively, and translate ambiguous topics into actionable plans. - Mentor team members on Agile principles and practices while driving change across the organization. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. - 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role, with previous technical experience preferred. - Experience in Scrum Master role for software development team for large initiatives. - Knowledge of various Agile approaches: Scrum, SAFe, XP, Kanban, Spotify, etc. - Awareness and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games. - Knowledge and experience in the use of tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc. - Ability to quickly learn new technology, demonstrated by experience in an engineering environment. - Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and mentoring abilities. - Preferred Agile certifications including CSM, PSM, SAFe SSM.
