Job Description

Role & responsibilities Responsible for managing and optimizing scrap handling processes across the plant. The role involves tracking, segregating, analyzing, and minimizing scrap generation, while ensuring compliance with environmental and safety norms. Drive 5S and safety practices in scrap handling areas across production lines. Analyze scrap trends and identify root causes of excess scrap. Implement corrective actions to reduce scrap generation. Ensure proper segregation, storage, and disposal of scrap as per guidelines. Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams for scrap control. Maintain accurate scrap data and generate MIS reports. Support audit and compliance requirements related to scrap management. Drive 5S and safety practices in scrap handling areas.
