Senior Consultant Role Overview: As a Senior Consultant, you will collaborate closely with clients in the Travel domain, specifically in the Aviation sector. You will take on a leadership role in delivering projects - providing functional and technical expertise and driving the growth of the Consulting practice. Your role will involve strategic problem-solving, mentoring junior consultants, and ensuring the successful implementation of solutions that align with the client's business objectives. Mandatory Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience in Aviation field. Experience in Amadeus is mandatory. Exposure to Ancillary services is desired. Specialised in one or more disciplines is required. Flight Operations, MRO, Revenue Management, Crew Management, Airline PSS. Should have a passion for Consulting. Should have good exposure across the entire travel value chain. Should possess excellent communication and client facing skills. Key Responsibilities: Client Engagement & Project Delivery: Lead client engagements, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business goals. Manage project timelines, key deliverables, and milestones, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Provide leadership in agile environments, guiding teams of consultants, product owners, and developers to drive successful project outcomes. Lead process mapping workshops, define user personas, and design customer journeys, translating business needs into actionable solutions. Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth communication, effective risk management, and conflict resolution during project execution. Functional & Technical Expertise: Provide deep domain and functional expertise to support the selection, design, and implementation of complex technology solutions. Facilitate Business analytics by leveraging data analytics and business intelligence to drive data-driven decision-making for clients. Oversee the visualization and presentation of complex data to senior stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable insights. Lead teams in the development and deployment of innovative solutions that enhance client operations and customer experiences. Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor and coach junior consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Provide thought leadership and strategic direction within the practice, identifying areas for innovation and improvement. Contribute to knowledge sharing by developing best practices, frameworks, and methodologies that improve team performance and delivery outcomes. Business Development & Practice Growth: Play a key role in business development efforts by identifying opportunities, creating proposals, and leading presentations to potential clients. Drive the growth of the practice by developing client relationships, identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, and expanding the firms market presence. Participate in strategic planning for the practice, contributing to go-to-market strategies and service offerings. Drives Proposal creation and presales activities for the engagement; new accounts Contributes towards the development of practice policies, procedures, frameworks etc Leadership Skills: Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and drive strategic initiatives that align with business objectives. Influence & Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to influence decision-making processes and manage relationships with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally. Problem-Solving: Capable of tackling complex business problems with a data-driven, solutions-oriented approach. Team Leadership: Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring high performance and collaboration across all levels. Communication & Presentation: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to executive-level audiences and facilitate productive discussions.
