Spark/Scala Developer

We are seeking a skilled Spark/Scala Developer with 5.5 - 9 years of experience in Big Data engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Scala programming, SQL, and data processing using Apache Spark within Hadoop ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement data ingestion and processing solutions for batch and streaming workloads using Scala and Apache Spark.
• Optimize and debug Spark jobs for performance and reliability.
• Translate functional requirements and user stories into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop and troubleshoot complex SQL queries to extract business-critical insights.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Scala programming and SQL.
• Proven experience with Hadoop Data Lake and Big Data tools.
• Strong understanding of Spark job optimization and performance tuning.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.
