SCADA Engineer

As an Electrical Engineer / Sr. Engineer at SgurrEnergy's Anand office, your role will focus on SCADA system Engineering. Your key responsibilities will include: - Able to prepare SCADA system architecture based on Overall SLD, project configuration, and as per utility guidelines. - Understanding MV Panel and control relay panels drawings/schematics. - Preparing complete technical specification/RFP documents as per project requirements. - Developing IO list, communication cable schedules, and control logic writes up. - Verifying technical compliance of Hardware and software systems. - Conducting Factory acceptance test independently as per approved documents. - Knowledge on the basics of Protection of substations, power transformers, and generators. - Familiarity with different architectures such as RSTP, PRP, and HSR. - Understanding of Ethernet Switches, Router, and Firewall. - Knowledge of communication types including Ethernet, Fiber optic, Serial RS232/RS485, PLCC. - Understanding of Substation Automation and Communication Protocol SNMP, SNTP, Modbus, IEC60870-5-103, IEC61850, IEC60870-5-101, and IEC60870-5-104. - Familiarity with RTU, SAS, and HMI functionalities. - Knowledge of PLCC and FOTE system. - Understanding of Cyber security, CEA grid compliance, and Load Dispatch Centre Interface of Plant. - Experience in renewable energy projects specifically EHV Substations up to 400kV, Solar, Wind, BESS is preferred. Candidates from other industries like Process, Oil & Gas may also apply. The position requires a minimum BE / B Tech qualification along with 7-12 years of experience in SCADA system Engineering.
