As an experienced professional in sourcing and procurement, your role will involve delivering sourcing and procurement engagements focused on strategic cost reduction, sourcing optimization, and procurement transformation. Your key responsibilities will include: - Defining and executing sourcing optimization initiatives such as indirect sourcing, cost take-out, direct sourcing, should-cost modeling, and category management. - Identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing sourcing opportunities through detailed spend analysis and market research. - Collaborating with team members to uncover key insights and profit-growth opportunities. - Implementing ideas to drive tangible improvements to the bottom line. - Supporting the execution of strategic cost reduction, zero-based budgeting, and operations value transformation programs. - Assisting in business development activities, including responding to proposal requests and conducting roadshows. To excel in this role, you are required to possess the following qualifications and skills: - MBA from Tier-1 B Schools and BE/BTech from Tier-1 engineering institutes. - Strong understanding of sourcing and procurement fundamentals with a minimum of 3 years of consulting and industry experience in strategic cost reduction, sourcing optimization, and procurement transformation. - Previous experience in a consulting firm and exposure to global environments would be advantageous. - Proficiency in data analytics, interpretation, and presentation skills.
