As an experienced Network Engineer with 8-12 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing and implementing SBC-related network changes, collaborating with network architects, and resolving complex SBC-related issues. Your key responsibilities will include: - Installing, configuring, and maintaining SBC hardware and software support, specifically Oracle/Ribbon products. - Configuring SIP routing, security profiles, and call admission control policies for voice, video, and messaging services. - Monitoring SBC health performance metrics and traffic statistics using Oracle SBC monitoring tools. - Troubleshooting SBC-related issues, including latency, packet loss, and SIP signaling problems. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve complex service disruptions or faults impacting voice or video traffic. - Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect voice communication systems from unauthorized access and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Collaborating with other IT professionals to integrate voice communication systems seamlessly into the overall network infrastructure. - Performing routine maintenance tasks, applying software updates, and upgrading hardware components to ensure optimal performance of the voice communication system. - Creating and maintaining documentation for voice network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. - Monitoring and analyzing voice network traffic to anticipate capacity requirements and plan for future expansion. - Providing end-user support and resolving issues related to voice communication services, including training users on voice features and troubleshooting common problems. - Working with vendors to procure voice communication equipment, software licenses, and support services, as well as evaluating and recommending new technologies to enhance voice communication capabilities. Additionally, it would be good to have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the networking domain and possess Voice or SDWAN certification for added advantage. You must be willing to support 24x7 operations on rotational shifts.
