SAS Data Migration Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data management and migration projects using SAS and ETL tools.
• Design and implement data migration strategies including planning, automation, testing, and decommissioning.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize SAS jobs using Base SAS, SAS Macros, SAS SQL, and SAS Access.
• Execute processes on UNIX/Linux or Mainframe environments (JCL).
• Use Python or PySpark to build scalable and automated data pipelines.
• Work with cloud technologies (AWS or Azure preferred) for data migration and storage solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to track and report progress, risks, and issues.
• Ensure all processes comply with GDPR and data privacy regulations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in data management and migration projects.
• Expert-level knowledge of SAS, including:
• Base SAS
• SAS Macro
• SAS SQL
• SAS Access
• Proficient in UNIX/Linux or Mainframe (JCL) environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with

  Python

  or

  PySpark

  .
• Experience with one or more databases: SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, DBT, etc.
• Familiarity with

  cloud platforms

  preferably AWS or Azure.
• Good understanding of

  GDPR

  and data privacy principles.
