Job Description

SAP TPM Configuration Consultant


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong understanding of Trade Spend processes and Promotion Planning lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • SAP CRM TPM or S/4HANA Trade Management
  • Funds Management and Budget Assignment
  • Promotion & Condition Configuration (Vendors, Customers, Materials)
  • Experience in integration with SAP SD, FI, BW (especially for reporting)
  • Ability to create functional specs and work with technical teams


Key Responsibilities:

Configuration & Implementation

  • Configure SAP TPM components including:
  • Trade Promotions
  • Trade Funds
  • Claims Management
  • Condition Techniques (Pricing)
  • Workflow for Promotion Approvals
  • Customize planning calendars, promotion types, and budget assignment rules


Integration & Interfaces

  • Collaborate with SD, FI, BW, and CRM teams for end-to-end process integration
  • Integrate TPM with ECC (Pricing, Billing, Accruals)
  • Support middleware interfaces (e.g., CPI, PI/PO)


Testing & Validation

  • Perform unit, integration, and UAT testing
  • Support defect triage and resolution
  • Validate budget checks, accrual postings, and ROI calculations
