Sap Test Lead

Introduction

As the SAP Test Lead, you will have a pivotal role in implementing the test strategy, actively driving to end-to-end quality assurance for S/4 HANA migration and implementations, as well as SAP ERP applications. Working in a central test management team, you will implement test strategy, test scope, plan, and estimates, create test concepts, support in test design, test case creation, test automation, test execution and reporting on test progress and quality status.

Role & responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Test Coordinators, Test Managers, and all relevant stakeholders to implement enterprise-level SAP test strategies, methodologies, and approaches for both functional and non-functional test automation.
• Engage in testing activities such as test planning, test creation, test automation, test execution, defect reporting, and test closure for the S4 HANA Migration and implementation Project.
• Work across various SAP streams, including Sales and Distribution, Finance, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Logistics, Security, and Demand Chain, ensuring successful project completion.
• Hands on experience in Automating test cases using TOSCA or other relevant frameworks.
• Collaborate with multiple deployment teams to organize testing activities according to different project phases.
• Ensure adherence to standardized testing approaches and best practices.
• Understand the challenges associated with SAP testing and automation and collaborate with the Central Test Management team to develop and provide suitable solutions.
• Support the central test management group in exploring new aspects of testing, such as automation and non-functional testing, and contribute to solutioning in these areas.

Preferred candidate profile

• Engineering degree in IT, information systems, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of the overall software test life cycle.
• Over 6+ years of experience in SAP Test Management, preferably with SAP Solution Manager for S4/HANA and SAP Functional and non-functional testing.
• Good to have experience in project management for testing projects.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP test automation and strong skills in SAP test automation frameworks and tools such as TOSCA, UFT, and SAP TAO.
• Working experience with various S4/HANA functionalities and SAP Modules such as SD, MM, WM, PP, MES, and FICO.
• ISTQB certification or other equivalent certifications in the field of quality assurance.
• Experience working in a co-located team with a willingness to travel.
• Excellent communication skills in English
