SAP System Administrator

As a System Basis Administrator with at least 3 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in the administration, optimization, and troubleshooting of SAP NetWeaver ABAP/Java systems and databases. Your responsibilities will include: - Administering and maintaining SAP Netweaver ABAP and Java systems to ensure high availability and optimal performance. - Handling version, support pack, and kernel upgrades of SAP Netweaver ABAP/Java systems. - Performing routine monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various SAP systems such as ECC, BI, PI, SCM, and Solution Manager. - Managing and optimizing Oracle, SAP HANA, and MaxDB databases, including installation, configuration, and regular upkeep. - Implementing database replication technologies like Oracle Data Guard and HANA DB replication via log shipping. - Monitoring and fine-tuning SAP systems for peak performance and troubleshooting performance-related issues. - Administering SAP Transport Management System (TMS) and working with SAP Solution Manager for incident and problem management. - Managing security settings, SSL configurations, and digital certificates for SAP PI, ensuring compliance with security protocols. In addition to the key responsibilities, you will be required to have the following qualifications and skills: - In-depth knowledge of SAP Netweaver ABAP/Java architecture and components. - Proficiency in database administration for Oracle, SAP HANA, and MaxDB. - Experience with SAP version, support pack, and kernel upgrades for ABAP/Java systems. - Strong troubleshooting skills for SAP ECC and other systems like BI, PI, SCM, and Solution Manager. - Familiarity with database replication technologies and SAP Transport Management System (TMS). - Hands-on experience with UNIX and Linux operating systems. - Strong programming skills, including debugging and performance improvements within the SAP environment. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - SAP certifications in relevant areas will be a plus. You may also be involved in medium to large-scale projects, collaborating with functional teams and ensuring smooth project execution and system integration. Familiarity with troubleshooting and administration of SAP systems in both on-premise and cloud-based environments is a preferred skill.,
