Node.js Developer

Location: Onsite – Chennai & Bengaluru, India Experience: 5+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced and proactive Node.js Developer with a strong background in building scalable backend systems, APIs, and services. This is a full-time onsite position based in Chennai or Bengaluru , offering an opportunity to work on high-impact projects using modern backend technologies. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend applications using Node.js . Build and consume RESTful APIs , ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Lead the integration of third-party services and backend logic with front-end components. Work closely with architects, DevOps, and product teams to deliver quality solutions. Implement security and data protection best practices in all backend services. Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following industry standards. Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance tuning. Guide and mentor junior developers as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of professional experience in Node.js backend development. Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+) , asynchronous programming, and Node.js frameworks like Express.js or NestJS . Strong experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs . Solid understanding of database systems , especially NoSQL databases like MongoDB , Redis , or DynamoDB . Experience with tools like Postman , Git , and JIRA . Working knowledge of containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team. Preferred Skills: Experience with microservices architecture . Exposure to frontend technologies (React/Angular) is a plus. Knowledge of TypeScript is an added advantage.
