Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Strategy

  • Solution Blueprinting

    : Lead the design, architecture, and blueprinting of end-to-end SAP solutions, specifically in areas such as

    S/4HANA

  • Roadmap & Strategy

    : Develop the overall SAP

    system landscape roadmap

    , defining an architectural vision that supports long-term business goals. Establish

    standards

    and best practices to ensure consistency in the design and delivery of SAP solutions.
  • Non-Functional Requirements

    : Define key

    non-functional requirements

    for SAP solutions, such as

    performance

    ,

    security

    , and

    scalability

    . Ensure the solutions are aligned with IT infrastructure capabilities and regulatory requirements.

2. Business Alignment

  • Stakeholder Collaboration

    : Work closely with

    business stakeholders

    , functional consultants, and IT teams to understand and document

    business processes

    . Translate these processes into clear

    functional and technical specifications

    for SAP solutions.
  • Feasibility & Recommendations

    : Conduct feasibility studies and provide

    expert recommendations

    on SAP-specific solutions, process improvements, and optimizations. Ensure that the SAP solutions are adaptable and can evolve as business needs change.
  • Business Process Reengineering

    : Assist in the re-engineering of business processes where required, ensuring the

    SAP solutions

    optimize business performance and align with the companys strategic objectives.

3. Implementation & Governance

  • Governance & Oversight

    : Provide

    technical and architectural governance

    throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure that the solutions are being implemented according to the design specifications, from initial conception to go-live and post-implementation support.
  • Configuration & Customization

    : Oversee the configuration, customization, and development of SAP solutions, including working with ABAP,

    SAP Fiori

    , and third-party integrations.
  • Integration Management

    : Lead the integration of SAP solutions with other

    SAP and non-SAP

    systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process execution across the enterprise.
  • Standards Compliance

    : Ensure that all designs comply with

    company IT standards

    ,

    security policies

    , and

    regulatory requirements

    , particularly in highly regulated industries.

4. Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Mentoring & Guidance

    : Lead and mentor a team of

    functional consultants

    challenges, serving as the primary escalation point for technical issues.
  • Team Collaboration

5. Documentation & Communication

Required Qualifications & Experience

1. Educational Background

  • Degree

    : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

    Computer Science

    ,

    Information Technology

    ,

    Engineering

    , or a related field.

2. Experience

  • Experience

    : Minimum

    12+ years

    of experience in

    SAP implementations

    with at least

    8+ years

    in a

    Solution Architect

    or

    Lead Solution Designer

    role. Experience in leading end-to-end implementation of

    2 to 3 large-scale SAP projects

    (greenfield, brownfield).
  • Core SAP Expertise

    : In-depth expertise in at least one core SAP module (

    SAP FICO

    ,

    SD

    ,

    MM

    ,

    PP

    ,

    PM

    ,

    QM

    ,

    CS

    ), with a strong understanding of cross-module integration.
  • S/4HANA Experience

    : Proven experience with

    SAP S/4HANA

    implementation or migration projects, as well as

    methodology.
  • Implementation Experience

    : Hands-on experience with full-cycle

    SAP implementations

    , from blueprinting to go-live and hyper-care.

3. Technical Skills
