SAP QM Consultant

You are a seasoned Senior SAP QM Consultant responsible for leading and executing end-to-end SAP Quality Management implementations. Your role involves a comprehensive understanding of procured material inspection processes, such as quality planning, inspection execution, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and analytics, along with a deep expertise in SAP QM functionalities. You will be required to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and have hands-on experience throughout the entire project lifecycle, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support. Your key responsibilities will include leading the SAP QM module implementation process across various phases, which encompass requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to comprehend quality processes and translate them into effective SAP solutions. Configuring SAP QM functionalities like inspection planning, results recording, quality notifications, and audit management will be a crucial part of your role. Additionally, integrating QM with SAP PP, MM, SD, and other relevant modules will be essential. Your role will also involve preparing functional specifications for custom developments and coordinating with ABAP developers, conducting workshops, training sessions, and UAT with business users, managing project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication, as well as offering expert-level troubleshooting and support during hypercare. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal quality policies will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you need to have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field, along with 8-10+ years of SAP QM experience, including at least 3 full-cycle implementations. A strong understanding of manufacturing and quality processes, experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments, proficiency in integration with SAP PP, MM, SD, excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills are required. You must also demonstrate the ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams effectively. Preferred skills for this role include SAP QM certification, familiarity with tools like LSMW, interfaces, and Fiori apps, Six Sigma methodology, knowledge of Agile or hybrid project methodologies, and experience in applying AI/ML to predict the quality of supplier parts.,
