SAP MDG Techno Functional Consultant

Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Techno Functional Consultant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both the technical and functional aspects of SAP Master Data Governance, enabling them to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet our clients data management needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data governance requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement and configure SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions to meet business needs.
• Conduct data modeling and design data workflows for master data management processes.
• Perform system integration and data migration tasks related to MDG implementation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to master data and MDG processes.
• Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on SAP MDG functionalities.
• Ensure adherence to data governance policies and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in project planning, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6-16 years of experience in SAP MDG, including both technical and functional aspects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP MDG architecture, data modeling, and workflow management.
• Experience in integration of MDG with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC).
• Proficiency in ABAP programming and development for custom enhancements.
• Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with SAP Data Services or SAP Information Steward is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with business users and technical teams.
