SAP MDG Techno Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand business requirements to recommend and implement solutions in SAP MDG, focusing on standard capabilities and necessary enhancements.
• Collaborate with technical leads and business process owners to define solutions and streamline business processes.
• Configure and set up SAP MDG for Master Data Objects such as Business Partner (BP), Customer, Supplier, and Finance domains.
• Work on data modeling, process modeling, UI modeling, and replication setups.
• Implement MDG enhancements, including Data Model Extensions, SMT mappings, GENIL Model extensions, and custom object configurations.
• Handle MDG WebDynpro FPM UI enhancements and configure rule-based workflows using BRF+.
• Configure and manage Hana Search, duplicate check, DRF, and Data Import Framework.
• Perform data migration from other systems into the MDG hub and vice versa, using ALE/IDOC and Enterprise Services.
• Implement and optimize MDG BADIs for field control, validation, dynamic agent assignment, data replication, and workflows.
• Provide expertise in MDG consolidation, mass processing, and reporting.
• Stay updated on SAP MDG innovations to ensure alignment with best practices and emerging standards.

Key Skills and Requirements

• 68+ years of experience in SAP with at least 4 years in SAP MDG technical areas.
• Experience in 2+ end-to-end MDG implementation projects, preferably in BP, Customer, Supplier, or Finance domains.
• Expertise in MDG configurations and setup for MDG-M, BP, F, and Custom Objects.
• Proficiency in MDG Data Modeling, Process Modeling, UI Modeling, and Replication.
• Strong knowledge of MDG enhancements like SMT mapping, GENIL model extensions, DRF, and WebDynpro FPM UI.
• Hands-on experience in MDG rule-based workflows using BRF+ and MDG API configurations.
• Familiarity with data transfer methods such as ALE/IDOC, Enterprise Services, and replication frameworks.
• Ability to handle MDG reporting, consolidation, and mass processing.
• Basic knowledge of MDG Consolidation and Mass Processing functionalities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SAP HANA search configurations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
