SAP IS Retail Consultant

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Retail consulting or business environments, implementing or using retail business processes and SAP Retail applications.
• Proficiency in SAP IS-Retail areas such as Article Master, Site Master, VAS, Season, Stock Transport Orders (STOs), Delivery, and Billing.
• Strong understanding of POS data processing (sales, inventory, receipts, tenders, and financial transactions) within SAP ERP.
• Deep knowledge of retail business processes and best practices.
• Familiarity with integration points between SAP IS-Retail and SD, MM, and FI/CO.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Proactive and solution-driven mindset with a strong “can-do” attitude.
• Ability to identify and recommend future business process and solution opportunities.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Facilitate support of SAP IS-Retail solutions and participate in new implementation projects as required.
• Conduct detailed analyses of complex business processes and provide appropriate system solutions.
• Design, customize, configure, and test SAP IS-Retail solutions.
• Identify functional gaps and issues and develop workarounds or enhancements.
• Act as a liaison with clients to troubleshoot, investigate, analyze, and resolve issues.
• Proactively identify areas for process improvement and propose business or system enhancements.
• Provide consulting services for both new implementation and support projects.
• Deliver ad-hoc training and user support as needed.
• Work independently and self-directed; act as a subject matter mentor to junior team members.
