We're seeking an experienced SAP Functional Lead to provide implementation and ongoing support for our SAP system. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, defining SAP configuration settings, and ensuring seamless integration with business processes.
- Gather business requirements and define SAP configuration settings and Master data setup
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation and integration
- Apply systems development methodologies to install, modify, and maintain SAP software
- Modify, test, and validate system configuration and master data changes
- Oversee custom code development and ensure adherence to SAP best practices
- Provide end-user training and second-level support for SAP-related queries
- Troubleshoot SAP system issues and collaborate with external support groups to resolve problems
- Work with business users and IS personnel to prioritize and accomplish business-critical projects
- Develop project plans, budget estimates, and lead project activities as a functional lead
- Integrate point solution technologies with SAP
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of SAP functional experience with hands-on configuration
- Strong background in requirements gathering and process design
- Familiarity with ABAP programming language
- Ability to search OSS notes
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
