As an experienced SAP Finance Consultant with 8+ years of relevant experience, you will be responsible for working on rollouts and enhancements related to the SAP Finance module for SAP ECC 6.0 instances. Your role will involve direct collaboration with the customer's Finance Subject Matter Experts (SME) to address all SAP Finance related requirements, issues, and tasks, emphasizing a hands-on SAP Product Costing knowledge. Your expertise should include working with cross-functional areas such as OTC/PTP/Production planning, as well as experience in working on interfaces with external applications. Proficiency in Flexible Workflows within Financial Accounting is essential for this position. You will need to excel in planning the deliverables required for each phase of the Rollout project. Additionally, you will be expected to gather and analyze user business requirements and processes, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of client requirements, needs, and ECC module functionality. Defining and documenting business requirements and validating solutions with the client will be a key aspect of your role. Your responsibilities will also include designing, customizing, configuring, and testing FI/CO modules, as well as cutover planning for finance activities in previous projects. Identifying gaps, issues, and providing work around solutions will be essential. Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules like MM, SD, and PP is required. Acting as a liaison with clients and multiple teams for troubleshooting purposes, multitasking, managing multiple deliverables and projects simultaneously, and configuring modules to meet business requirements are critical aspects of the role. You will be expected to proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements and maintain strong communication for status reporting, business, and client interaction. Furthermore, you will be responsible for providing key-user and end-user training and support as needed. Working self-directed and independently, and potentially acting as a subject matter mentor to team members, will also be part of your role.
