Job Summary

SAP FICO Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain SAP FI modules:

  General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA)

  , and

  Bank Accounting

  .
• Design and maintain

  Chart of Accounts (CoA)

  to ensure accurate classification and financial reporting.
• Configure and manage

  Fiscal Year Variants

  and

  Posting Period Variants

  to align with business requirements.
• Handle

  Document Posting

  , including invoice entry, journal vouchers, and credit memos.
• Manage

  Clearing and Open Item Management

  for payables and receivables reconciliation.
• Configure

  Tax Codes and Procedures

  (Regular & Withholding Tax) for local and international compliance.
• Maintain

  Master Data

  for vendors, customers, and assets to ensure accuracy in transactions.
• Oversee

  Payment Processing

  (manual and automatic), including payment runs and settlements.
• Support

  Asset Accounting

  for lifecycle management, including depreciation and reporting.
• Maintain

  Foreign Currency Exchange Rates

  and ensure correct conversions in multi-currency transactions.
• Manage

  Bank accounting

  , including bank setup, reconciliation, and liquidity monitoring.
• Configure

  Dunning and Credit Management

  for overdue payments and credit control.
• Support

  Month-End and Year-End Financial Closing

  and generate accurate statutory and management reports.
• Collaborate with MM and SD teams for

  module integration

  (e.g., intercompany transactions, invoice verification).
• Troubleshoot

  tax calculation errors

  and ensure proper configuration for automatic tax computation.
• Support

  Vendor Invoice Management (VIM)

  processes (PO-based and non-PO-based) and related SAP transaction codes.
• Enable and configure

  SAP Fiori apps

  for finance users.

Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong configuration experience in

  SAP FI

  (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting).
• Knowledge of

  SAP CO

  integration points.
• Experience with

  VIM

  (Vendor Invoice Management) processes.
• Familiarity with

  SAP Fiori

  and

  SAP GUI

  environments.
• Understanding of

  indirect tax

  ,

  intercompany transactions

  , and

  integration with MM/SD

  .
• Ability to troubleshoot configuration and tax calculation discrepancies.
• Experience with

  financial closing

  ,

  reporting

  , and

  compliance

  activities.
• Open to learning and working on new tax applications such as

  OneSource

  (highly preferred).

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• SAP Certification in FI/CO preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and within a team environment.
