SAP FICO Consultant

As a SAP FICO Consultant in Navi Mumbai on a Contract to Hire basis, your role involves being a highly experienced Finance Consultant with expertise in SAP FICO implementation projects and related finance domain solutions like Treasury or Taxation. Your responsibilities include acting as a Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME) for software solutions implementation across platforms like SAP FICO, Treasury, Murex, Alladin, etc. You will lead requirement gathering workshops, translate business requirements into functional specifications, configure, integrate, and test SAP FICO/Treasury/Tax solutions, among other tasks. Your role also requires post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and suggesting process improvements. Collaboration with technical teams for custom development is essential. Key Responsibilities: - Act as a Finance SME for software solutions implementation across platforms - Lead requirement gathering workshops with business stakeholders - Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications - Configure, integrate, and test SAP FICO/Treasury/Tax solutions - Assist in data migration, validation, and reconciliation during cutover - Lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure business readiness for go-live - Support end-user training, create process documentation, SOPs, and training materials - Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and suggest process improvements - Collaborate with technical teams for custom development Required Skills & Qualifications: - Chartered Accountant / ICWA / CA/ MCom / BCom - 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO/Finance domain solutions implementation and support - Strong knowledge of finance processes such as Financial Closing, Consolidation, Taxation, Budgeting & Forecasting - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues - Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills As an SAP FICO Consultant, you should have a strong background in finance and accounting processes, coupled with hands-on experience in SAP configuration, integration, and deployment. Your role is critical in ensuring successful end-to-end implementation and post-go-live support. Additionally, you will be responsible for learning and implementing modules associated with Finance on Non-SAP Platforms.,
